Both British Airways and Virgin Atlantic have announced in the past 24 hours that they would drop the mandatory wearing of face masks on eligible flights.
The devil is in the detail. Passengers must continue to wear masks on most flights, as airlines must continue to follow the requirements of the destinations they are flying to.

Virgin Atlantic is more honest in its communication, as they point out that masks are not required on their services to the Caribbean.
It will be pretty confusing, as no face masks are required in England and Heathrow, but many destinations still need one. I hope that British Airways and Virgin Atlantic are stocked up on masks to give out passengers.
