Delta Air Lines has brought back its gift card promotion, this time with Lyft.
You can get a $25 Lyft gift card (they call it a Ride Credit) for a Delta gift card purchase of $250 or more by November 16, 2022.

The T&Cs refer to the $25 Lyft Ride Credit per purchase. It is not clear if you can earn multiple Lyft cards for separate Delta gift card purchases.
Conclusion
There are disadvantages to using a gift card instead of a credit card for flight purchases. You may not be covered under various credit card policies when it comes to delayed flights, lost/delayed bags, and compensation. Buyers be aware.
