Hilton offer deeply discounted Go Team Member rates for associates and a Friends & Family plan for their close friends.
There have been several changes to the program this year (read more here and here), and the most significant went live last week.
Hilton calls the employee discounts “Go Hilton Team Member”, Friends & Family “Go Hilton Family Friends Rate” and “Go Hilton Extra FFTP.”

Team Member Rates Now Available For Spouse Or Partner
Team Members can allow their spouse or partner to use highly discounted rates even when the team member is not traveling with them.
They were only eligible for the standard Friends & Family discount until last week.
Their travel will count towards the yearly 30-night limit for the TEAM MEMBER rates. The sharing of the nights with a spouse or partner went live last week.
A team member can dedicate one member as their spouse/partner.

Team member rates are brand specific, and there is a limit of 30 nights per year at this price.
- $40 (previously 35 USD) for Hampton, Hilton Garden Inn, Homewood Suites, Home2 Suites, and Tru by Hilton
- $50 (previously 45 USD) for Hilton Hotels & Resorts, DoubleTree, Embassy Suites, and Tapestry
- $60 (previously 55 USD) for Curio, Canopy, and Hilton Grand Vacations
- $80 (previously 75 USD) for Waldorf Astoria and Conrad

Conclusion
It is a fantastic benefit for spouses and partners of Team Members to be able to use these deeply discounted rates, although they are drawn from the same yearly quota of 30 nights.
These rates are not always available, as are not Friends & Family ones either.
I think it is great that associates can sample various brands and hotels belonging to the chain at very reasonable prices (Hyatt offers free nights to team members) and enjoy Honors elite benefits, too (these rates are points and benefits qualifying).
