Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort which joined the Hilton system in 2003 after extensive renovations (likely nothing ever since), is heading for an exit.
The hotel will cease to be associated with Hilton from January 1, 2023. As a result, Honors members staying at the hotel after the handover date won’t earn points, elite qualifying nights, or stays.

Hotel Fact Sheet:
Conclusion
Hilton’s presence in Phuket is severely lacking. There is a DoubleTree hotel in Patong, a reflag from a local hotel, and a new Hilton Garden Inn in Bang Tao.
I stayed at the Hilton Phuket Arcadia as part of my Sandbox experience in September 2021, and the hotel was lackluster. It is a perfect fit for tour operators that can fill it with planeloads of passengers from China, Russia, or India.
When I had a chat with the employees during my stay, I understood that the same owner has other hotels under Accor’s flags on the island. I hope this won’t become a Pullman or Novotel unless it first goes through extensive renovations.
The hotel is simply too big (close to 700 rooms) to not be affiliated with any international brand.
