IHG One Rewards went through a program refresh earlier this year, including a name change (IHG Rewards Club gone) and a new set of Milestone and status benefits.
One of the milestone reward options is Food & Beverage vouchers which have been challenging to use because not enough hotels have them enabled. As a result, IHG has extended all vouchers issued in 2022 through the end of 2023.

FOOD & BEVERAGE REWARDS COMING IN 2023
As we near the end of 2022 we know you’re probably starting to look ahead to 2023 travel. With a new year comes new possibilities and that’s why we wanted to give you an update on how you can use Food & Beverage Rewards next year.
More time to use your reward
All Food & Beverage Rewards chosen in 2022 will have the expiration date extended through December 31, 2023. You will see the expiration date updated in your account in January.
Available in the US & Canada in early 2023
By March 2023 you’ll be able to begin to use your Food & Beverage Rewards at US and Canada Luxury, Lifestyle and Premium hotels. This includes InterContinental Hotels & Resorts, Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, Hotel Indigo, voco, EVEN Hotels, and Crowne Plaza. Food & Beverage Rewards can be used for purchases applied to your guest room bill at hotel restaurants, in-room dining, minibar food & drink items and associated tax and gratuity charges.
We will keep you updated as Food & Beverage Rewards become available for use at more of your favorite hotels around the world throughout 2023.

IHG One Rewards Program Refresh:
You should have been able to use these F&B vouchers already for months, but their implementation is quite complicated.
You must F&B expenses to your hotel folio and then use the IHG app to offset these using your vouchers. Unfortunately, this requires that hotel and IHG systems talk to each other in real-time, which is not usually the case for folio-level items.
It is good that IHG has understood that the rollout has not gone as expected and that members need more time to use them. Hopefully, IHG will be able to sort everything out by the end of 2023.
