Marriott has released its latest 20% off Escapes for stays at select countries in the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia-Pacific through August 21, 2022 (Asia-Pacific ones through September 21), which are available for bookings through Sunday.
Escapes have been available for stays in the Americas, and recently Marriott extended them elsewhere, too. The Bonvoy member discount is 20%, while the non-member one is capped at 15%.
In the Middle East and some North African countries, the weekend is defined as Wednesday to Saturday, while Thursday to Sunday elsewhere. Some hotels and resorts may offer availability throughout the week.
You must book this rate a minimum of 48 hours before the stay in the Americas, 24 hours prior in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, and at least seven days before in Asia-Pacific.
The following brands do not participate EDITION, The Ritz-Carlton, St. Regis, Bulgari, Marriott Vacation Club, and Design Hotels.

It is great that these Escapes are not for stays worldwide and the Asia-Pacific ones are valid for eight weeks instead of four.
Valid at participating properties throughout the US, Canada, Caribbean, Latin America, Europe, the Middle East, Asia Pacific (excluding Greater China, “APEC”), and Africa. Availability is extremely limited while supplies last. Specifics of each offer can be found on the offer’s booking page. Rates are prepaid at the time of reservation. Individual hotel cancellation policies in place at the time of reservation will apply. Changes to a reservation are subject to availability and any rate differences.
Offer must be prepaid with a credit card with the following advance booking requirements: At least 48 hours prior to stay in the US, Canada, Caribbean, and Latin America; at least 24 hours prior to stay required in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa; and at least 7 days prior to stay in APEC. Refunds for prepaid reservations may take up to 90 days from the date of cancellation to be processed. The form and timing of refund may be subject to applicable laws where each hotel is located. Marriott Vacations Worldwide (e.g., Marriott, Sheraton and Westin Vacation Ownership resorts) is included in this policy for transient reservations only.
For Marriott Bonvoy™ members, the offer consists of a 20% discount on the guest room Standard Rate (as defined below). For non-members, the offer consists of a 15% discount on the guest room Standard Rate. Offer discount may be lower at some properties in APEC. “Standard Rate” means the publicly available retail rate offered by participating hotels at the time of booking to individual guests. Except as noted below, rates are offered for stays Thursday through Sunday. Thursday requires a Friday night stay. Sunday requires a Saturday night stay for properties in Europe.
Participating resorts worldwide and participating hotels in APEC offer the discount all days of the week, subject to availability.
Some locations in the Middle East are offered for stays Wednesday through Saturday. Wednesday requires a Thursday night stay. Saturday requires a Friday night stay.
