Save US$300 On Singapore Airlines Ticket Purchases Of $1500+ With Amex Offers


American Express (U.S.) has a new, very interesting Amex Offer in their selection that members can activate, offering US$300 back for cumulative Singapore Airlines purchases of $1500 or higher.

The ticket (as per the T&C) has to start in the U.S.and the eligible amount doesn’t have to be from one single charge but can be cumulative.

American Express currently has a range of attractive offers on the list (most of them attached to charge card accounts) and many of them are airline purchase-related which is great to save substantial amounts when buying tickets.

You can find this particular offer in your online account and add it manually:

The purchases have to be completed by December 31, 2022 but the flight can be at a later point.

With this particular offer, travelers are able to save $300 and considering the $1500 minimum purchase it should easily be combinable with a Premium Economy or Business Class ticket such as the special offer the carrier runs several times a year:

This is an offer from the summer of this year but it pops up regularly and you can always play around with higher value, more flexible fares if you have a fare that’s slightly cheaper than the originally required $1500.

  • Air France / KLM: Spend $1,000 or more and get 20,000 Membership Rewards points
  • Various Marriott, Hilton & Hyatt Hotel offers

This is the first time I’ve seen an Amex Offer for Singapore Airlines which I find quite interesting. I’ll have a look if there is some attractive one-way fare back to Asia next Spring.


Singapore Airlines and Amex have added a new offer to members’ accounts, offering a $300 kickback when spending $1500+ on Singapore Airlines purchases with tickets originating from the U.S..

These American Express offers are quite attractive at times and it’s always worth having a look at them. Key is – as always – to not give into the advertising effect of these promotions and spend money you otherwise wouldn’t have spent.

For common, everyday purchases adding these bonus offers can save a decent amount of money over the year or at the very least add a few more points to the account.

Enrollment limited. Must first add offer to Card and then use same Card to redeem. Only U.S.-issued American Express® Cards are eligible.
