Shangri-La Circle Members Day Launch June 6, 2022 – Book Packages With 6X Points For 48 Hours


Shangri-La’s guest loyalty program has gone through a refresh over the past six months, starting with the name change from Golden Circle to just Circle (read more here) to moving entirely dynamic awards (read more here).

Shangri-La also announced a monthly event called Members Day that begins today, June 6, and lasts for 48 hours only. You can book hotel-specific packages at 6X points.

I decided to check one Shangri-La hotel where I had stayed previously. Unfortunately, there is no indication of what the 6 TImes The Fun rate includes beyond 6X points at a 53% higher rate than the non-prepayment member rate.


I am not sure what to think of this offer based on my cursory look. At least in the case of Shangri-La Colombo, you are dearly paying for some extra points. I hope that this is not the case with most hotels.

Terms & Conditions of Members Day:

1. The “Members Day 6x Points Promotion” (the “Promotion”) is organised by Shangri-La International Hotel Management Limited (“SLIM HK”). It is open to all registered members of Shangri-La Circle (“SLC Members”).
2. Pursuant to the Promotion, bonus Shangri-La Circle points will be earned through the purchase of selected hotel packages and offers (“Packages”) which are offered by participating hotels. The details of the Promotion are set out in this microsite.
3. The Promotion shall only be applicable to bookings and purchases made via any Shangri-La e-direct channel which includes, Shangri-La Circle Mobile App and the Shangri-La’s WeChat Mini-Programme.
4. The Promotion shall only be valid for bookings and purchases made from 6th June, 2022 9am to 8th June, 2022 9am (GMT+8).
5. Packages purchased under the Promotion shall be valid until 31st August, 2022.
6. Packages shall be made available for purchase and use by participating Shangri-La Group hotels, including Shangri-La Hotels & Resorts, JEN Hotel, Kerry Hotels and Traders hotels.
7. The Packages shall be managed and administered by each participating hotel. SLIM HK makes no representation, warranty or undertaking whatsoever as to any implied terms or conditions with respect to the Packages.
8. The Promotion will not be applicable to any of the following:
(a) all redemption bookings (whether full or partial);  and
(b) purchases of prepaid vouchers.
9. Packages must be booked by the SLC Member using their Shangri-La Circle Membership number in order for the bonus Shangri-La Circle points to be credited to the member’s account.
10. Each Package is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other products.
11. Packages are limited and shall be sold on a first come first serve basis and until stocks lasts.
12. Unless otherwise determined and stipulated by SLIM HK in any relevant terms and conditions or any of Shangri-La’s e-direct channels (including this microsite), the Promotion may not be combined with any other promotions, discounts or special offers and is not valid for existing reservations.
13. SLIM HK reserves the right to terminate the Promotion or vary these terms from time to time without notice.
14. SLIM HK’s decision on all matters relating to the Promotion will be final and binding. No correspondence will be entertained.
15. These terms and conditions shall be construed and governed in accordance with the laws of Hong Kong SAR.
