United Arab Emirates (UAE) government late on Sunday announced that it would lift all remaining covid-related restrictions when it comes to testing and masking on Monday morning.
Abu Dhabi, which has had stricter restrictions in place than Dubai, will also remove existing testing and other requirements (you needed to have a green status on an app to enter most facilities).

Entering Dubai has been straightforward for more than a year already, but Abu Dhabi has been a different case, even for those fully vaccinated who have needed a test to turn the app green.
People who have been vaccinated and living in Abu Dhabi need to take a PCR-RT test every 30 days to have the app status stay green.
I am glad that these restrictions have now been lifted.
