Conclusion
Wyndham Rewards recently moved away from flat 15,000 points per night award pricing structure. Instead, hotels now require 7,500/15,000/30,000 or more points per night.
Buying points can make sense if you can use them at a hotel when the paid rates are high while award inventory still exists.
