Marriott Bonvoy’s latest global promotion ended earlier this month, and we reported last week that they were rolling out new targeted offers to select members that are valid through August 31, 2022 (read more here).
Marriott Bonvoy has extended the offer for more members and sent out an email. There was no offer in My Promotions last week, but there was one yesterday.

These targeted offers were adopted into Marriott Bonvoy from SPG, and they took some time off in 2020.
Remember that only paid stays (not awards) count towards these bonus offers. You can combine targeted offers with global and property-specific ones.
Conclusion
There is no rhyme for who is eligible for these targeted bonuses, but I would assume that the most lucrative ones go to members who haven’t stayed with Marriott for a while.
Members have usually been targeted at least for one of these offers in a calendar year (sometimes more frequently), and I was lucky with an offer back in December.

Registration is required. Registered Members can earn 2,000 bonus points after their first eligible stay that includes a weekend night and 3,000 bonus points after their second eligible stay that includes a weekend night for a maximum of 5,000 bonus points during the promotion’s earning period (the “Promotion”).
